VeinWell (“we,” “our,” or “us”), developed by Gentle Vein Care Center, provides a digital mobile application and companion website to assist users in tracking leg swelling, recording compression therapy routines, and learning about vein wellness.

We are committed to maintaining the confidentiality and integrity of your data. We do not sell your personal information or share personal health habits with third-party data brokers or advertising networks.

2. Information We Collect

We may collect information in the following ways depending on how you interact with our services:

• Website Visitors: We collect standard, aggregated non-identifiable web analytics (such as browser type, general geographic region, and referral source) to understand website performance and improve user experience. The marketing website does not collect medical histories, diagnostic information, or Protected Health Information (PHI).
• App Account Information: When you create an account in the VeinWell mobile app, we store your email address and authentication credentials securely via Google Firebase Authentication.
• App Usage & Habit Logs: In the mobile app, you may choose to record leg circumferences, compression wear duration, elevation sessions, water intake, and subjective heaviness ratings. This information is stored securely in Cloud Firestore to sync across your authenticated devices.

3. How We Use Your Information

We utilize collected information solely to:

• Deliver core mobile app features, habit tracking graphs, and measurement history.
• Match your recorded leg measurements to manufacturer size charts for compression recommendations.
• Send notifications and reminders that you explicitly configure (e.g. morning measurement reminders).
• Provide customer support and respond to inquiries sent to veinwell@gentlevein.com.

4. Analytics & Tracking Practices

We employ privacy-conscious analytics tools (such as Google Analytics / Firebase Analytics) configured strictly to evaluate aggregated product engagement (e.g. button clicks, screen navigation, crash logs). We strictly prohibit transmitting health symptoms, measurement dimensions, or personal notes to analytics providers.

5. Data Security & Storage

All data transmitted between the VeinWell mobile app, website, and backend cloud infrastructure is encrypted in transit using Transport Layer Security (TLS/HTTPS) and encrypted at rest using industry-standard protocols. Access to infrastructure is restricted strictly to authorized engineering personnel under least-privilege principles.

6. Your Rights & Data Deletion

You have full control over your personal data. You may request account deletion and complete erasure of all associated habit and measurement records at any time by navigating to Account Settings within the mobile app or by emailing our support team at veinwell@gentlevein.com.
